To allow for even bigger growth in 2009, the event was rebranded to DMEXCO – Digital Marketing Expo & Conference and moved from Dusseldorf to Cologne. Focused on bringing together industry leaders, marketing and media professionals, and tech pioneers to set the digital agenda, DMEXCO now offers both exhibition and conference space, with 550 speakers on 18 stages in 9 different formats, including debates, seminars and work labs and more than 1000 exhibitors from 40 countries. Every year, over the course of two days, 41,000 people from 95 countries visit DMEXCO.
The 2019 edition of DMEXCO will take place on 11-12 September under the motto: “Trust in you”. Since companies need the trust of users in order to offer successful products and services, and users must be able to trust that companies treat their data responsibly, this year’s edition will emphasize the importance of trust in the further development of the digital economy. Prominent national and international exhibitors returning this year include Facebook, Microsoft, Spotify, AdAlliance, Adobe, FreeWheel, Hybris, Outbrain, SevenOne Media, Spryker, Taboola, Teads, Verizon Media and Xing with addition of newcomers Asana, AT&T, About You, Baidu, Intelligent Apps/Free now (MyTaxi) and Slack.
In 2019, future technologies and innovations will find a new, prominent home in DMEXCO: The Future Park. All visitors who make their way to the Congress Stage will pass this space, as it is located directly at the entrance of Hall 9. Future Park will allow over 150 innovators, visionaries and startups to showcase products and services covering every relevant digital topic of the future - from artificial intelligence and big data to mixed reality, smart technologies, mobility, content management, IoT and blockchain. On one of the two integrated stages, startups can also pitch their innovations in front of a real audience and present cases in the future hub of DMEXCO.
